# Lenz > Human-reviewed fact-checking platform that uses AI to research claims across multiple independent sources and score truthfulness on a scale of 1–10. Lenz is a fact-checking tool that uses AI to verify claims and rate their truthfulness. Users submit any claim — something they heard, read, or saw online — and receive a structured fact-check report. The pipeline uses AI to frame the claim, research it across the web, stage a debate between models arguing each side, then convene a panel of three adjudicators who evaluate source reliability, logical consistency, and contextual accuracy. The result is a conclusion label (True, Mostly True, Misleading, or False) and an Lenz Score from 1 to 10. All claims in the Library also undergo human verification at a later stage, where an editor independently reviews the analysis for quality and accuracy. All verified claims are published in a public Library at https://lenz.io/library. ## How It Works - [How It Works](https://lenz.io/how-it-works): Five-step fact-checking pipeline from claim framing to conclusion, plus human verification ## Fact-Checked Claims - [Is Excessive Sugar from Fresh Fruit a Myth?](https://lenz.io/c/excessive-sugar-consumption-fresh-fruit-5b53da18): Mostly True — 7.0/10 - [Is Earth's sea level actually flat around the world?](https://lenz.io/c/sea-level-variations-global-differences-84513d03): True — 9.0/10 - [Can Sound Actually Have Negative Decibels?](https://lenz.io/c/sound-negative-decibel-level-f22830be): True — 9.0/10 - [Are some species really biologically immortal?](https://lenz.io/c/biologically-immortal-species-ee3e35e7): Misleading — 5.0/10 - [Does your brain really hog 20% of your energy?](https://lenz.io/c/human-brain-oxygen-calorie-usage-a0dc6227): Mostly True — 7.0/10 - [Can carbon capture really solve our climate crisis?](https://lenz.io/c/carbon-capture-storage-effectiveness-scalability-net-zero-9d6bcda4): False — 3.0/10 - [Will CBDCs really compromise your financial privacy?](https://lenz.io/c/cbdc-financial-privacy-loss-ordinary-citizens-cb387d0e): Misleading — 5.0/10 - [Do Generative AI Models Really Produce Inaccuracies?](https://lenz.io/c/generative-ai-models-factual-inaccuracies-c8d17b44): Mostly True — 7.0/10 - [Is common law marriage valid in all 50 US states?](https://lenz.io/c/common-law-marriage-recognition-us-states-e26ba9fc): False — 2.0/10 - [Is Deglobalization Really Threatening Western Growth?](https://lenz.io/c/deglobalization-threat-western-economic-growth-a3311e75): Misleading — 5.0/10 - [Is Flushing Medications Really Safe?](https://lenz.io/c/prescription-medication-toilet-disposal-safety-578f811c): False — 2.0/10 - [Is standardized testing the best way to measure student apti](https://lenz.io/c/standardized-testing-effectiveness-student-aptitude-prediction-1bb05dcd): False — 3.0/10 - [Do learning styles actually improve how students learn?](https://lenz.io/c/teaching-learning-styles-improves-outcomes-4e6defbf): False — 2.0/10 - [Does the five-second rule really prevent bacteria transfer?](https://lenz.io/c/five-second-rule-bacteria-transfer-5fcda2e9): False — 2.0/10 - [Will Ozempic and Wegovy Revolutionize Public Health?](https://lenz.io/c/ozempic-wegovy-public-health-transformation-8ea8c11a): Misleading — 5.0/10 - [Can honey really never spoil?
